Cancer Warning for Proscar, Propecia, Avodart and Jayln

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) last year issued a safety warning for drugs used to treat enlarged prostate glands saying there is an increased risk of developing high-grade prostate cancer.  The agency said the Warnings and Precautions section of labels on the 5-alpha reductase inhibitor (5-ARI) class of drugs is being revised to include the warning, reported the Washington Post.
